Neil Farrelly - Jungian Analyst, Psychoanalytic Couples Psychotherapist & Group Analyst

I have a background in law and banking and have many years experience working in the City. I have both graduate and post-graduate degrees in law.

I undertook a Jungian Analytic training with the British Jungian Analytic Association ("BJAA"), a college of the British Psychotherapy Foundation ("BPF") and qualified as a Jungian Analyst in 2009. I am a Professional Senior Member of BJAA and BPF and am registered as a Jungian Analyst with the British Psychoanalytic Council ("BPC"). I am also registered with the International Association for Analytical Psychology ("IAAP").

Before training as a Jungian Analyst, I obtained an Advanced Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling from the Westminster Pastoral Foundation ("WPF") over 20 years ago. I also received a Post-Graduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling from Roehampton University around the same time. 

I qualified as a Psychoanalytic Couples Psychotherapist with Tavistock Relationships in 2013.

I am a qualified Group Analyst and a member of the Institute of Group Analysis, which is where I trained.

I hold a Diploma in Supervision from the WPF.

I have over 24 years of experience working in a variety of counselling and psychotherapy settings including the NHS, university counselling services and various charities, as well as working in private practice. I also have experience of supervising individuals and groups in NHS, agency settings and in private practice.

I adhere to the BPC's Code of Ethics, which includes a complaints procedure.

I carry professional indemnity insurance.

My work is regularly supervised.

I have had many years of Jungian analysis as well as several years of group analysis.
